my wife bakes for patients with stomach cancer and esophigal cancer, i'll go to jail before I would follow that law , just because some careless parents left thier stash where the kids could get it,c'mon ,all they got was a nice buzz,unfortunately,i know of a couple parents who have done this,the kids suffered nothing more than an early nap and dizzyness they didnt understand , turn on the frikkin cartoons for 5 minutes and theyre cured lol

If I had young kids in the house, I would have a second fridge , That locks , in the garage, even one of those mini fridges would do,and you can buy them brand new for under 75 , and all of my goodies would be in lockdown in said fridge , and I'm not faulting anyone that this has happened too , its an ACCIDENT , no harm done,just a bad case of munchies and a nap, please be more carefull, dont change the laws to cause harm to those that need it most, dont make me go to the big house , the hoosegow, the slammer, over some cookies

Why is this bill supposed to be aimed at candy flavored meth, but has rasta reece's, 3 rastateers, and munchy ways listed. WTF How do medical cannabis edibles that are purchased at a medical dispensary get lumped with candy flavored meth? Someone broke the law to acquire the meds from the dispensary and give them to non-med patients. FWIW I have never walked into a dispensary and not been verified. I also have never been offered candy flavored meth from a dispensary. All of the edibles I have purchased had labels saying that there was medical cannabis in them.

In which case instead of facing jail time we will have to offer edibles like infused olive oil and butter so patients can make their own sweets or whatever but I totally agree.. the really ill patients are the ones who truly benefit from the edibles and they must be provided in some form.

The market has been having a great selection but the demand has been so big that the vendors are selling out pretty fast on Saturdays.

The thread is for the market and the members & vendors to post what they will have and discuss things and its opportunistic to post stuff that has nothing to do with our market.

We are now providing totally free meds whenever needed to patients who are terminal or doing chemotherapy as paying for meds should be the least of their worries. I want everyone to know that all the members and vendors who contribute and donate to Good Karma Growers are the real people who make this possible. We have been blessed with the most honorable of people and I want to thank them one and all! Most of those people have come to us thru this forum.. Nomaad, the most generous of souls, NoBull56 with all his bs..lol and Token Treasures have donated so much, prepress420 (patient 001) Kermit with his "cosmic energy" Andy (not icmag members) and Calicoli06 donating beyond their share.... and EVERYONE who has ever vended with us... You have all helped tremendously to keep our free med program going. Thank You! Know that the free medicine you have provided and your small fee for vending has made it possible! And has eased the suffering of many, many patients. It has made their life more tolerable and given them relief.
That feeling is worth way more than money.

So... from what I understand, the no-sweets legislation is more about marketing to kids than the possibility of them grabbing a THC infused product from their paraents badly hidden stash.

We have laws about marketing cigs and booze to kids using cartoon characters... but this would be more like banning Peach Schnapps or Wine Coolers because they don't taste as nasty as neat whiskey and might be considered to be marketed to kids. Doesn't make sense.

Nice one, cc06! Generosity is infectious! I have found a number of collectives that claim to have free programs for their most needy patients, but none of them place such an importance or priority on making sure that the program is viable and in place for their patients when they need it. Its awesome to see our membership stepping up and our priorities firmly in place. From each according to their ability, to each according to need. Sorry is Karl Marx quotes offend anybody, but his thinking about collectivism is important... especially for a collective. A little bit of compassionate socialism goes a long way to make capitalism work for everybody. I love that this community shares these beliefs...if not in word, in practice.

My black boxes are coming down soon, so there will be plenty of popcorn and concentrate for the program in a few weeks.
