Fans - what do I need?

I am starting my second grow right now. I think I have a pretty good handle on nutrients and lighting, but I don't feel very confident about the ventilation. I am going to use the "barrel of green" setup I am going to use a 150w HPS in a small space. Do I have to have a squirrel cage blower or can I get by with a couple of computer fans. I have it set up so I don't have any long stretches of ducting, maybe 4 feet total.

it's all about static pressure. it take effort to suck air past obstructions. I would recommend a 4in inline personally(elicent vortek ect..), a bit more money but an inline fan and a speed controller are worth their weight in gold imho. squirrel cage blowers are much louder than inlines and computer fans just cant muster enough static pressure to do much good.

I see nothing at all except someone who is riding on the coattails of other peoples work.

Is skinner your sock puppet? It's ironic you dropped in this thread that is strikingly similar to your second post, linking to that website. Skinner tried to give me negative karma (which ended up neutral) even before I commented on any of his posts. Even though I can't prove it, the situation is sketchy and would lead someone to believe you may be a sock puppet.

I don't think I understand what the heck is going on here. I have never given ANYONE negative karma. The barrel system is working pretty well for me. Thanks to CE's comment I kept looking and found a pretty original solution to my fan problem. I took apart a whole room HEPA system, which is essentially a squirrel cage fan in a big plastic box. When the girls start to smell in a couple of weeks, I am going to put the filters back in with carbon replacing the filter paper stuff. Jack, I gave one dude positive Karma yesterday or the day before who had been accidentally bumped down. If that was you I could have made a baked mistake, but I don't think so. I think you are looking for a fight and are seeing conspiracies all around yourself. I am basically a lurker by nature so it is easy to assume that I am someone else's "sock puppet." This is an anonymous forum so there is no safe way for me to defend myself against your assertions. Since OG went down I have been looking for a good place to hang. Maybe this is not the place for me.

Users with low posts don't mod up or down. This post I was referring to bleached leaves in a PC case with a 400 watt HPS. You still tried to mod my karma when I haven't ever seen your posts.
