Fans for Autoflowering/short varieties

Besides for cooling purposes, are fans needed for autoflowering/short varieties to strengthen the plant, or is it really needed since the plants do not get very tall? I do not have any fans in my grow box and overheating is not an issue, so I need to know if I need a fan or two just for plant strength.

Yes...fans help strengthen your plants and create good air circulation.

They help with what Dirk writes but i dont find the necessary. In my indoor grows with autos ive never used any fans for that purpose. The air circulation I get from my exhaust and intake used by the carbon filter and any need for stronger steams ive never found.. That is just me but ive had some good bud grown with out extra fans and i dont see adding fans would make any difference in bud quality. If you have good temps in your grow room it should be nothing but fine.

One more Important suggestion Hydro > Read your ass off and learn as much as you can about the strains you want to grow and keep in mind your grow room size & nutes you will want to use as well as the lighting which all come into play as it's not all about using fans.
