ok i figured out the wiring for the ligth...but the fans have a red/blue wire...not white and black..which one is which? or should i do the guess method and f its wrong switch it around...i just dont wanna eclecticute myself
That has a 12V output and a 230V input, thats not what you want. You want a 12V ac/dc power converter. It has a specific name that I cant think of right now.Do a google search they are easy to find
does it matter which colors go to which?...the fan has a blue and red wire and the plug has the black cord with one of the wires has a white strip over part of the black...
im just curious if i connect it wrong it itl still work and not catch on fire....
someone said it might run backwards and it isnt installed yet so that wouldnt matter just tyring to be safe
it does not matter with a DC fan, generally speaking. That fan will not explode if you wire it incorrectly, it'll just turn backwards. So, wire it up whatever way you want, and adjust the orientation of the fan accordingly.
don't sweat it Darrin, it is just a small direct circuit. I would recommend using a pc power supply at like 30 bucks and a few 120 mm fans, it is already to go with plugs and all
i was gonna get a comp fan but the guy said i should get these ones...plus they was more exp so i figured hes trying to rip me but oh well...its all up and working now
