Fan question

I don't exactly know the answer to your question, I just wanted to say that that is a damn good price for that fan.
Good find.

Yes, depending on the type of carbon filter. But why use the 'y' attachment? You can run the carbon inline, carbon---> cool tube----> vent

Just make sure you hood is sealed so you don't pull in 'dirty' air after the carbon scrubber.

so if i understand correctly, you want me to hook the carbon scrubber up to one end of the cool tube's ducting, then the fan on the other end and the bulb in the middle?

Yeah, it's plenty of fan. Why on earth would you want to use a Y connector? Using a Y connector when the static pressure isn't even on both feeds is asking for problems.

Edit: Yes it should be Scrubber > Cooltube > fan > exhaust
