Fan power regulator for temperature?

Was wondering if they made something that would cut my exhaust fan on when a certain temperature was reached, then cut it off when it got to a certain coolness? basically so it only runs the fan in a certain temperature range, so I can regulate my temps inside.
Right now its dumbass cold outside, but I have some gavitas running nice and hot. Even with the gavitas its getting down in the low 60s-50s, im trying to maintain a constant 75-80 degree temp in my room, when the fans are on it gets too cold and when theyre off it gets too hot. Any other suggestions?

Right now im doing it by just having the fans go off n on during the light cycle, i just want something a little more concrete and accurate...

Yes they make them.. It's called a thermostat.. U can get ones online with different set points for night and day for like $80.. Just go to any hydro store or eBay and search thermostat

I run a Ventamatic Duostat. It works but you can't control low temperature shutoff point. Seems like it drops the temperature at least 10 degrees before it shuts off.

I dont see any that say they will shut off when the temperature reaches a certain low, Anyone with experience wanna put me up on game with these things? Whats the difference between the 14 dollar one and the 120 one? U get what you pay for or are the high priced ones just trying to exploit a niche market?

You could roll your own. A $10 arduino, a $2 temperature sensor, and a $2 relay will give you nearly unlimited flexibility to turning things on and off based on temperature.

The downside is you need to be smarter than a dimwit. You'll need to know how to safely wire a relay. Its not too tough but 110 volts a/c is nasty and can kill. You'll also need to learn a subset of the C programming language. Its a bit tougher than wiring a relay but programming usually won't kill you.

The upside is the expandability. The temperature sensor will use one i/o pin and the relay will use another. With the arduino mega, you'd have 68 more i/o pins to play with.

The many different brands I've used all seem to work the same. If u set the temp at 80f the fans turn on @ 80f n stay on until the temp drops a few degrees below 80.
N then turns back on when it reaches 80 again.
I haven't seen one that u can control the on and off temp. Imo it is an unneeded feature for a grow room.

just get a digital line voltage thermostat. the sort one would use with electric baseboard heaters would work well enough.

line voltage thermostats are beefier than generic theromstats... with relays and such so they tend to cost like 60-80 bucks.

I use the C.A.P. TMP-DNE...they cost about 80 bucks it think(its been a couple years), but it has different settings for day/night, heat/cool, and you can set the thermostat within 3,5, or 7 degrees. it has 2 different dials for day and night temps which is really cool...before i started using co2 i had my carbon filter attached to my 8 inch inline. I could set the "lights on" temp so it turned the fan on at 79 degrees and turned off at 74, and at "lights off" you could crank it all the way up if you never wanted it to turn on, or if your really late into flower you could turn it all the way down to constantly scrub the air to clean up the stink.
