Fan+carbon filter sizes. Is this correct?

Hey IC :) I'm a recent convert from GC; I find this place has much more useful information. I've done my research, and I'm posting this to verify that I'm correct before I continue with this project. This is my first time setting up my own room, and I want to plan ahead and do it right.

The room I'll be working with will be 10' deep, 6'5" high, and 6.5" wide. If my calculations are correct, this leaves 422.5 cubic feet to be ventilated. There will be four 1000W HPS lights in there.

Now, I know the most optimal ventilation setup can recirculate all the air in the room in under 5 minutes. With that in mind;

1. The quieter, the better.
2. Would a 500CFM fan and a 500CFM max carbon filter work well, or would I be able to get away with something smaller?
3. If the room's depth is cut in half (5' instead of 10') and has only 2 lights (211.25 cubic feet), what equipment would you suggest?

Also, are there any brands of vent/filter that are known to be "better" than others? If so, can you explain why it's better? All suggestions welcome!

Thank you!

Sounds good enough. I'd prefer not to go to a shop, it's easier that way. Do you know of any websites that sell them reasonably priced and will ship to the US?

Ebay, and any grow store or online shop would ship items like that to the US. Grow equipment is not illegal.

I know equipment isn't illegal. I'm asking for reputable online stores. :)

I got my centrifugal from discount hydro and got my CAN100 locally due to OUTRAGEOUS truck-shipping prices on large carbon filters.

Flower is 6.5'x5'x7.5' by the way. Air exchanges ~2x every minute. Tasty.

Do they not carry the Can 100? I couldn't find it on their website.

I've heard of discount hydro before, I'll check them out. Thanks :)

Fan (6", 449CFM):

VOR6 - http://www.discount-hydro.com/productdisp.php?pid=295&navid=29

Filters:

#PR100 - http://www.discount-hydro.com/productdisp.php?pid=210&navid=23
#AAF100 - http://www.discount-hydro.com/productdisp.php?pid=579&navid=23

Would these work? If so, which is more reliable? I'm assuming the AAF100 would suit my needs just fine. I'm sure both are available locally.

Both filters are 8"; would a reducer (flange?) work, or would I be better off finding a 6" filter as well?

Sorry for all the questions, it's my first full ventilation setup, and I want to make sure it's done right. :)
