fan and filter - Question

Hi Guys,

i use the soler&palau 250 combined with an 280 m³h carbon filter but despite just having started there is still a considerable amount of smell leaking into the room.
I have only one passive intake, that is roughly 2x the size of the outtake and there definitly is constantly fresh air rushing in.

Could it be that i chose a too small fan or carbon filter or what is happening here?

i'd guess your fan is too strong for your filter. filter - 280 m³h is equivalent to about 160 cfm ... if you have a soler palau td-250 fan your cfm is 500-700 cfm ... way off .... need to match the cfm/m3h of the fan and the filter
