so im going to set a indoor grow for the coming winter....my local hydro shop has some package deals..here is it

for 270.00
400 hps
ss harvest pro ballast
yeild master 4" reflector

is this a good price?
im also wondering is it more sketchy to show up with a wad of cash or use a credit card and leave a trail?

Have you checked the 'net for delivered prices. Visa gift card can be used if you don't want a personal CC trail.

Plenty of good systems at htgsupply for you to compare with.

I saw a dude at the store back up with what was clearly a rental van and load that bitch up, paid in cash. The people at the hydro store dont care how you pay. They know whats up.

I would buy local just to know you have local support. If thats your only light and you have an issue in week 4 of 12/12, was the $40 savings worth loosing your ballast for a week while it shipped back and forth for repair?

Adding on to what has been said... do you REALLY think that the majority of hydro store biz is from people who like to grow tomatoes during the winter? Be realistic please.
