fact or fiction ?

So I'm hearing rumours of cannabis strains genetics being crossed with these legal highs (spice/black mamba). These legal highs are currently big thing behind bars and also with an odd few wreck headd looking for a stronger high.

Now I may be just jumping the gun but after smoking for over 15yrs I have recently smoked a few bags aquired from the street that have gotten me high like no other bud before.

Has anybody heard anything similar or experienced anything like this ?

those legal highs are just synthetic compounds applied to arbitrarily selected plant matter. there may be people coating buds with those compounds, who knows, but I doubt it since doing so wouldn't exactly be cheap to do.

do you mean are ppl adding chemcial compound liquids to canabis that is not very potent? or do you mean is someone creating new species using cannabis and some other genus... if thats what you meant the answer is mostly likely no, most species wont cross..expect the odd time like ligers and tigons...

besides as rude dog says, most legal highs are not plants so theres nothing to "cross"...

I see, from my understanding spice and black mamba were genetically modified strains of plant however it may be the case that cannabis strains are being fed and sprayed these synthetic compounds coatings. It actually makes more sense and explains alot.

Thanks for the input guys

Herbs listed on the packaging of Spice include Canavalia maritima (coastal jack-bean), Nymphaea caerulea (blue Egyptian water lily), Scutellaria nana (dwarf skullcap), Pedicularis densiflora (Indian warrior), Leonotis leonurus (lion's tail), Zornia latifolia (maconha brava), Nelumbo nucifera (lotus), and Leonurus sibiricus (honeyweed). However, when the product was analyzed by laboratories in Germany and elsewhere, it was found that many of the characteristic "fingerprint" molecules expected to be present from the claimed plant ingredients were not present. There were also large amounts of synthetic tocopherol present...
Compared to cannabis and its active cannabinoid THC, the adverse effects are often much more severe and can include hypertension, tachycardia, myocardial infarction,[34] agitation, vomiting, hallucinations, psychoses, seizures, convulsions[35] and panic attacks.[36][37][38][39][40] Among individuals who need emergency treatment after using synthetic cannabis, the most common symptoms are accelerated heartbeat, high blood pressure, nausea, blurred vision, hallucination and agitation.[41] Other symptoms included epileptic seizures, acute psychosis, and heart attacks.[41]

Better to stick with true cannabis.

I can confirm I experienced some of those symptoms...I think the way it's getting these days I think I will stick to smoking my own crops and just hope one crop lasts me until the other is finished

I've never understood why you would take legal highs when illegal stuff is readily available, especially with cannabis.

Even street SCHWAG is far better than synthetic.

The legal highs are extreme and as I said because of the loop hole in the system they are big in prison.
These synthetic highs are way stronger than cannabis.

Those synthetic highs are rediculous iv even heard they are so extreme in some cases they are converting A class addicts from smack and crack.

Drug tests don't test for paint thinner/ other compounds.

Seriously, that shit is so bad. It's literally common chemicals from home Depot, which is soaked into literally any plant matter, the actual plant doesn't matter. They could soak green tissue paper with that nasty and there would still be demand.

Some people just ENJOY ingesting straight poison... :/

To each his own... I'll stick with the real McCoy.

I've literally felt heart palpitations on this shit. The last time I smoked that posion my heart seemed to stop for a second, then WHAM! Highest blood pressure/ dying feeling/ panic ever.

The effect is minimal and almost always ends with a bad headache, thirty minutes after burn.

Please don't let your friends smoke that.

Be smart with what you put in your body

Red wine and THC is the limit for me these days. If I wanted anything stronger I'd be buying some decent sniff or MDMA not legal stuff.

I see your point about prisons though, are blind eyes turned in the big house?

It's not only blind eyes are turned it's just if they are caught they aren't going to recieve lengthier sentences as it isn't illegal. It's a win win situation for inmates

man I seen a bunch of docus (I watch a LOT of docus) on bath salts and research chemicals.. the state of affairs in the US is shocking...some people literally trying to peel off their own faces, others losing limbs from blood poisoning.. recently I saw one where some lads went around all the festivals testing MDMA powder.. something like 95% of it was fake.

edit: it was called Whats In My Baggie...
