facebook threat?

I

Iron_Lion

Thats not nearly as bad as FB's built in facial recognition software I read about in the news a while back. It can detect who's who in your photographs and tag them without being told to.

Fuck FB
Fuck Zuckerfag too, he's got the worlds privacy up for sale and the world just hands it over willingly so they can keep up with how many BM's their friends had that day or what they ate for breakfast.

I laugh when I see proud parents posting their baby pics all over the net, I think this will be the first generation to grow up on the internet. From infancy to adult their photographic history will be logged on a server somewhere for eternity. Give it 10 years and your face will be owned and copy righted by some corporation somewhere, you'll have to pay to use your own identity.

maybe Im just paranoid :hide::snap out of it:

This is why I don't post shit on Facebook. I use it to find people and reconnect with them. But you won't ever see me post a picture and all my info is set to private. I have the bare minimum to have a profile and that's it. I go as far as using it to get peoples Email, then use my private account to contact them. I have one friend that's a super computer whiz kid. I'm like DUDE, WTF? Why do you have so much info on FB? You of all people should know better!

I don't get blabbing your life to the world. Use a freaking alias at least.

this is more like it!
some have no idea that this is within the realm of possibility.
like it or not, facebook has been using every visitor to their site for marketing and/or other nefarious purposes.

old news to new peoples.

i admit anyone using a site such as ICMag should know this already...

FB is just the tip, like bullfrog said, do you think the govt tells you each and every little dirty secret about how they operate? They hide the most controversial stuff and barely acknowledge the fluffy parts with rainbows.

I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if there was a gigantic field of servers that just log data all day every day from anyone on the net, building profiles of each IP or user.

think if Hitler could just go on FB and search for "Jew" or "Jewish" how much easier his reign would have been. Everything on there is low hanging fruit, the govt's favorite type.

I don't have a FB and never will, when Skynet comes I wont be there twatting (twitter) my life away so they can have me all figured out.
