EZ-Cloner directly to SOG

To anyone with ez-clone or SOG experience I was wondering if I can run clones in my ez-cloner for 3 weeks then transplant them directly into a 12/12 room with a rockwool plug and a hydroton pot? I have seen some vids on the ez cloner with really long roots and my plan is to have a perpetual 12/12 room without having to veg in between. Any advice is appreciated!

I have seen it done but to get any yield you have to pack them under the light in flowering your only going to get that top bud but it works well when you use all the same strain keeps the canopy even also when the clones get roots increase the light to get nice growth:biggrin:

I start with good sized, healthy cuts and it only takes 2 weeks for them to come off the cloner. I'd at least recommend putting them in veg for a week because the transplant is going to stun them for a few days, better off having this occur in veg because you only get 8-9 weeks in flower.... don't wanna waste 1 of them on transplant shock.

Good point coldcanna, I really shouldnt waste a week. I was hopin i could skirt around having to have a veg room for them. How long are your roots usually when you take them outta the cloner at 2 weeks?

im doin this now it'l work just fine. im doin rockwool cubes though just make sure you have alot of roots before you transplant. there should be less shock too the way your doin it cause its just hydroton

Nice I'm really glad to hear someone else does this, it will save me a lot of time space and $ if i can not veg them. How tall do they end up usually? And how big are the clones when you take them?

The main tap roots are all about 10-12" long after 2 weeks, I'd say unless it's some off the wall strain, your run of the mill indica / sativa crosses shouldn't need anymore time than that
