Hello everyone,
I just want to get a little input on what might happen to my plant
Well.. I had a hydro momma for some time now, and she was about 2 feet high.. nice and bushy.. MASSIVE ROOT BALL... the roots hung about .. 2 feet down when i took it out of the water.
So. I had to move her, and I decided to throw her outside in the soil
I waited a week or so and I noticed that she doubled in size, so I know she took very well to soil from hydro.
Now..yesterday, i went and checked on her and decided to do one nice super crop to her stalk...I felt the stalk and it felt pretty hard.. but it wasnt fully "woody" yet.
so i was at about half way on her stalk where i cropped her over.
When I did the super crop... stalk REALLY CRACKED.
Id say her stalk is about ... half inch thick.. and now after I cropped it there is about 2/3s of the insides exposed and only about 1/3 of the stalk still attached...
I have super cropped many times... and usually the stalk just ...belts over and not causing the one side of the stalk to straight up RIP and now be exposed.
From my experience... i feel that that area is just severly wounded now, way more then any average super cropping. I believe and feel that it will come back.. but will most likely take about 2 weeks maybe more before its fully healed...(normal super crop takes about a week...)
So any suggestions to what I should do to aid in its recovery.
These are things i have in mind to help it out for the next few weeks..
1- NOT MOVING OR TOUCHING THE PLANT AT ALL..
2- I pulled some long grass around it really tight.. giving it a little
protection from wind
3- I was planning on watering it tomorrow with a little guano mixed into the soil at the base.
any other thoughts to what i should do? Should I do anything to the extremely exposed CRACKED stalk?
Thanks everyone really.
love and light,
