Extraction help

hi guys,

If I want to extract the air from my room twice a minute, how do I do this in m3?

whats the formula?

room size 3m x 2m x 2m

Also I have an extractor 1500m3, but i need to find out where to set the idle for so its extracting twice a minute..

so if i only needed 750m3 to extract twice a minute i'd just set it on half speed right?

also extractor has carbon filter if that makes any difference,

hope you understand my question, thankyou

Ummm... is 1500 m3 meters cubed per hour? Sorry I'm a little unfamiliar with metric units normally used for a fan..

Your room size is 3 * 2 * 2 = 12 meters cubed. To exhaust twice per minute you'd need 24 m3/min or (* 60 minutes per hour) 1440 m3/hour extractor. But, a carbon filter and the ducting will cause the fan to extract less, and to really hit twice per minute you'd want more than 1500 m3/hr. That said, you'll probably be fine with 1500 m3/hr extractor even if it's not quite twice a minute.
