I recently discovered Reddit after it's recent bad press. As I explored, I grew to love 1 sub section. Explain to me like I am 5.

So I decided to make this thread.

This question had bothered me.

Explain this to me like I was 5.


Of all the people,
Why does it seem that Richard Dawkins attracts so many angry
anti-women misogynistic men?

I could understand if he attracted atheist,
but why angry men?

I hope this stays civil. I am not some men's rights activist. It just appears to the untrained eye, that he has become a kind of saint to a very small yet vocal group of men.

Men read these clickbait articles and get reinforcement of ideas they
already hold.

And more clickbait articles are written about how Richard Dawkins

Well the story goes because some feminist was in the elevator and some guy invited her to his hotel room, and she felt in danger. Dawkins, dismissed her "feminist call to society for help"' instead replying as if to a muslim woman, Mentionning all the harsh things muslim women deal with.

So the woman started flaming him, calling onto other feminazis to attack him.

Saying its not cause there are worse things happening, that she shouldnt fight for whats right at home. (Males not being able to ask girls out in elevators)

Basically, its a power thing. If you havent noticed the female/jew agenda, then notice it baby.

Men are currently going through a difficult time, it's time we liberate ourselves.

Dawkins has written some great books on the nature of genes across the entire spectrum of life forms that exist on this planet. He has won many awards for them. When you spend as much time in the lab doing experiments and observing things as fact, you probably stop caring about stupid bullshit.

Dawkins as a scientist was not much better than any other scientist more preoccupied with publishing than with science itself. then he went on to write controversial books based on scientism rather than science, and made big bucks out of it. the under-educated are his number one audience btw, the bible thumpers his biggest opponents, te high school drop out his biggest fan... both crowds, those who like him and dislike him, come from the lower end of intelligence's level lol...
