exhausting through heater/vents?

so my bedroom has another bedroom room next to it which we use as a tv room, it is def. cooler in there than my room year round for some reason
(my closet setup doesnt help)
I figure since the heater main line goes by these 2 rooms, splits between my room and the other in the exact same place and then cotinues through the house, if i put an en exhaust fan and duct it to the heater vent in my bedroom then it should just dump lotsa air straight into my other room (its vent is right across from the wall we share) now im no hvac expert but im pretty sure it would work, my only concern is when the heater is turned on, will it have an adverse effect? my roomies are always freezing anyways and they love the house to be warm and i hate it, I actually always keep my heater vent closed all the time cuz its too hot. will it possibly conflict w/ the current exhaust i have for my closet? thanxfor reading as I need to try this out before springtime.....

If your heater is on and blowing hot air it will blow hot air into your grow. The only time you would be able to vent using the heat duct is if the heater is off.

It will stink the whole house up!!!! It will not only vent in the room next to you , but the whole house too. The exhaust will go all the way back to the heater and threw the whole house.

I would not recommend doing this. Try and exhaust into the attic if at all possible or out a vent in either the roof or a gable end.

you definitely got a point and I took the vent off and noticed it might not work as productively as id like so imma look into other options, I just dont want nymore holes made!!!!

Well it won't stink it up if you use a carbon filter, but the heat is an issue, I was wondering if you could some how cut off the heat blowing in certain sections, but eh, I might just have to cut a huge whole to vent out of.

If you stop the air from going into that section, youre also going to be stopping the air from coming out of that section, so it's a no-go there :(

cant you install a vent cover that only lets air go in one direction? i mean so when it has air blown on it from one direction (say from your bedroom into the venting) it opens but if blown on from the other direction (when the heater is on and blowing down into the bedroom)it is just pushed closed and the air is forced in another direction like into the opposite room?
it looks like this like this

same as a stop valve in your toilet want let stuff come up the plumbing
and yea if you attached a carbon filter it would clean the air before being exhausted out of the room.
maybe i have misunderstood the problem completely though hehehe but wouldnt that stop the airflow from coming in the room from the vent?hope this helps, if not....meh

Actually that sounds like a good idea, although if I installed one of those things, what do you think would happen to the hot air if it was being blocked from going out into the room, and what would happen if the heater turns on while I'm venting into it, would the air collide and shit happen?

I was thinking the same thing. If the vent shut because of the heater blowing air against it, you'd have no way to vent your air out.

your fans force would have to be stronger then the building heater and the air from the heater would take the easiest route out which id say is into the opposite room right. can you draw a diagram so we can get a better idea.
