Exhausting out of a windows construction questions

Hi, I am in the process of constructing a 2k grow room. The grow will be isolated in a hydrohut deluxe. I would like to have intake and exhaust running through the same window. I am wondering if this is possible. The window will be properly and unsuspiciously boarded up and 2 holes, one at the top and one at the bottom would be for in and out. Would this be a feasible way for intake and exhaust providing I have strong enough fans?

While we are on the subject of ventilation, what is the proper way to assess what CFM will be required for a setup like this? Also, what would be the best way to set this up?

Thanks in advance for all your advice

First off why is it that your intake air has to come from outdoors? Why not just setup the window for exhuast only and then use the air from the room that your hydrohut sits in?

Yeah, I'd agree w/ Jnugg - draw air in from your house, exhaust only thru the window. Keep it simple!

Have you read the grow tent thread? You may find some answers there.

I'd rather run two 600s than two 1000s in a plastic tent.. but maybe it's being done already.

Be careful exhausting out a window, and make sure you air is properly scrubbed for odors first.

The HHs are relatively new and I don't think anyone is an expert on their configuration yet. It's a tent, you do what you can do with it...
