Excess string on rope hangers

What do you guys do with your excess string on your light hangers...been trying to figure away to coil them up and stash them out of way.

loop them up and use a rubber band or zip tie and hand from ceiling.

I used plastic bag ties to wire them up high.

On the tie's topic, the dollar store probably sell a 5 meter length of velcro (hook and eye) aimed at plant support. You can also get a cable tie who's tooth has a little extension sticking out. Allowing you to lift it and use them again. I loath using one shot cable ties, when it's just as easy to make them reusable.

The rope is quite heat resistant. It's fine on top of a shade. I leave the unused length bundled but don't find it's in my way.

I just use the end of rope back up & use taut line hitch.
