Hi Folks,
I'm taking the opportunity between grows, to not only clean-down but to also make some improvements at the same time.
I live in a row of bungalows and grow in my loft, so clearly soundproofing my grow area was a vital part of the planning & building. However, I've added some further soundproofing to the adjoining wall and around the space for the A/C.



Also fitted a double layer under the res as with the three pumps and four airstones, it put out quite a 'thrum'.

Also fitted a new duct to the chimney for the light cooling system, releasing the top hole for the exhaust fan & can.

The can I've fitted is reversible. You can swap the ends with three screws which gives you 50% more life!

Almost ready for the girls. Got 20 clones of Nirvana's ICE to go into the room. I'll pick the best 12 from them and should be in and growing next week, all being well. I am running a grow diary for the ICE run and will be posting regular updates to that diary.

For those of you not familiar with my growing methods, I grow pure hydro via NFT, in Hydroton on an 8' x 3' gravity table. 12 x 6.5L square pots in three blocks of four, sitting on NFT sheet. 3 x 600W Hid - air cooled lights. 100L res and constant feed via drippers.
I feed Canna Aqua Vega A&B during veg. I also add H&G Roots Exelurator for the first 4 weeks. Plant Magic Bloom A&B during flowering and the boost. I add 'Shropshire' liquid seaweed and a Humic/Fulvic acid mix to each feed throughout the grow. I also add organic unsulphered molasses from week 3 onwards.
