Dont know about the first one, but the nl#5xhaze is an exellent strain. Lime green with potent bud. Will take an extra few weeks too finish but it's worth it.

Thunks (aka T*Haze x Skunk#1) were all over the place at the beginning of the year.

Thunks just don't seem to ever stop sending out new shoots. Plan on at least 17 weeks of 12/12. My second run went for 20 weeks at 12/12. It still wasn't done growing. This may be one of those strains that never "finish."

Note buds will be airier than Indicas. Like picking up a bird, you'd think something that large should weigh more.

this may be a good strain to try out the 12/12 from seed method and just let it go in a corner of the flowering cabinet.
...pitty i only have a 250W HPS.

thank you for the links Freezeroy i'll K+ you when i get enough posts.

looks like a good strain to give to the birds... That is where mine will go.

stasis that's a terrible attitude ...

... the sativa i've had is well worth having less of it... especially when you start to get burnt out on indica hybrids. i loo kforward to trying and enjoying this strain.

If you sex them and flower cuttings as soon as they root and use smallish pots they might not take as long to flower.
Sativa's may flower for a long time and yield pretty shitty sometimes but quality over quantity anytime.

Hey JustEnoughForMe

You also might to try experimenting on your lightning schedule. When it comes to flowering equatorial sativas, a light-dark intervall of 12/12 does not to seem to be ideal. Maybe a setup more to 11 h of light and 13 h of darkness during late flowering will take them to a finish. :joint:

and hey, marijuanamat

".. but quality over quantity anytime."

..you're exactly right, my friend :respect:

foxy trees thanks so much for the input,

there was a guy on overgrow who grew 16 h on and 12 h off ...

and the plants took a LOT longer to flower, because they took the same amount of 12 hour dark cycles as they woudl in a 24 hour schedule, the result though was astonishing.... as the plants grow the most at the end and in this case they had an extra 18 ish days to grow out, which is like tackign that much more grown on the end of the cycle...

...anyways i will look for threads regarding alternate lighting schedules, but for now i think i will juts have one female in the corner of the box, as i only have 175W MH, and looking at geting a 250HPs or CMH soon... but i don;t have a seperate place to mess up the light for my other girls.

thanks again
