Scottiesng here, 2 am in Ireland. Used to live in Holland for a year, learned to love a great strain, Dutch Passion's own Euforia. I'll try to give a review of the smoke now and do it some justice if i can.
On another note, i'd like to say thanks to everyone on the forum, i hope to learn a lot more than what i've learned in my lurkings and to some day truly be an expert. I feel like i know how to enjoy the plant, but someday i want to understand the science behind the plant and to grow the nicest weed i could ever enjoy. If others felt like buying that weed, well then that would be just dandy.
So until i move over to Haarlem in October it'll only be smoke reviews and random postings. When i get over, though, be prepared for some sweet ass growing and grow logs. I want to make a name for myself!
Euforia
Smoked: 0.3g single skin spliff (pinner)
Odor: Incredible. That skunky depth, penetrating every room in the house. Can you say DANK! Not the perfect cure, but cured none the less - a rarity in Ireland.
Smoke: Lovely and smooth. Truly a weed to be smoked in a blunt, heavy yet nice lasting feeling on your tongue and mouth.
Flavour: Difficult to describe - not usually something that i'm good at anyway. No definite parallel that i can make out. A dark sort of taste - quite earthy. At the same time, maybe a little bit of high notes too, a little bit of orange peel maybe. Perhaps that's the orange pistils speaking to me though.
Effects:
1 min:stumbling around looking to get my hoody. Throbbing in my legs with a slightly jittery body shake. Definite headrush/shaking/bobbing head. Vision considerably altered.
5 min: Have decided to put a song on: Davyan Cowboy - Boards of Canada. Typing a lot easier, but spelling mistakes persist. Lovely high comes on just now, movement to the song is great, even in time! [on a side note, this song is great when high rather than stoned is that it comes on in waves and each wave is more beautiful than the other. [i would choose roygbiv if i was stoned]). Just wrote this for @ 10 mins and then realised it wasn't ten mins yet: "Song has just finished. Putting on Aphex Twin - Digeridoo now, it should be lovely for the high with all its trippiness. Lets hope i can get a hallucination out of this."
10 min: Is now just ten mins. Putting on the song nonetheless. It's a mental song. Glad i'm getting into Aphex Twin - he's Irish after all. Have to watch the volume with the parents downstairs though. This beginning to become quite the diary. Smoke still tastes in my mouth. Real nice taste!
. Munchies hit me bad, lethargy, teemed with Aphex Twin is fighting against moving though. Going watching football highlights online at footytube now. Come on United!
10 - 30 min:
Dehabilatatingly high. Music making me trip balls. No hallucinations, but then this isn't Ghost. Man I :bongin: that strain. That this calls that back is a nice sign, like the calling back of the good football memories just a min ago. Good depression weed if my mind is right, think i remember a very soft, pillow like high-stone transition, softer than some of the nice pollen or afghani than i've smoked. Worried about next song. Perhaps something softer.
Uh oh - I've left Aphex playing through to ".215061". Great song though. Radiohead next for sure. Then Floyd, then... who knows!
30 min:When i close my eyes i see yellow and blue spaceships made of cheese and plastecine shooting into the sky and flying round the moon. Music is great, video is better = daily show time.
Daily show was outstanding. Still very high, not particularly stoned. Snoop Dogg on the Daily Show was great and clearly very high!
Can really feel the pressure behind the eyes and around the ears. As i read on another journal it's relieved quite a few pains that i didn't know were there. Some slight spinning as well.
2hr: nice and stoned. Having a good browse online. Fun.
