I'm going to ride with you. Thanks for posting your work friend. Crescendo & lilac diesel should grow into tall plants with plenty of sweet-smelling flowers. 😎

Hey creeperpark, glad to have you along.
Setup-
Small 20”x36”x62” tent
Using earthdust w/ roots organic and 20% WC. Amending soil in a lg tote will cook 3 weeks indoors.
3 gl fabric pots.
Molasses in flower w/ recharge as needed during veg.
They claim you don’t need to PH your water w/ living soil but I still get it close. I’m rural so I don’t need to deal w/ chloramine. Tap water sits in 5 gl bucket, chlorine will evaporate over a few day period. I use an air stone to help.
Light is the ES 180 v3, which I LOVE!
3 fans, 1 above the light for cooling, 1 mid tent, 1 on the floor. Air circulation is critical imo in any size tent, especially smaller tents.
A blower of course but I get away with no filter, so far at least. I place cheese cloth over the intake and exhaust as a filter. Seems to do the trick for me. But then again, I usually only do 2 plants per run.
I don’t lollipop my plants. I will pluck along the way to expose bud sites but prefer a more natural approach and wait to see what I’m dealing with in a particular plant 🪴 and what it needs. I’ll take better quality over quantity every time. I know there are many superior growers here that achieve both but this is my approach.
I have a fairly large,( too many ) seed collection. There are SO MANY strains these days it’s kinda nutz. Back in the 70’s you enjoyed whatever came around. We’ve in weed paradise now, right?

I love Roots Organic potting soil because it has everything for growing good plants. I also use it for starting seeds and it works very well with pure rainwater. It's slow but it's like you mentioned above quality over quantity kind of potting soil. It's always worth the wait. 😎

Agree. Good quality control. Ive used it for years.
I need to experiment more w/ planting directly in soil. Wasn’t very successful if I remember. I’ve got pest pellets dialed luckily.
Thought I had another week or so before having to trans. but I didn’t like the way they were looking so into 3 gl pots.
40% power and 30”.
My friend ran both outdoors this year here in the Portland area. Had to pull the L Diesel early, weather ran out. Prob go 9-10 weeks.
The Crescendo is fire he said.
Next round will by something by Ace seeds.
Ive grown some of their gear and it yields monsters.

Will feed recharge & molasses next watering.
Found out green sunshine co has bit the dust. :~(
Been a tough couple of year for companies because of the shut down which we know now was actually counter productive. Ugh. Love their LED lights and was planning on getting a backup….
Testing out their earth dust dry amendments this run, that’s gone too.

Thick foliage w/ good spacing.
First recharge today. Moderate watering every other day. They’re staying fairly short so far, I like that. I’m @ about 30” and 70% power.
So far so good w/ earth dust. If this run goes ok I’ll reuse the soil and continue w/ ED. When I’m out I’ll give Gaia green a go.

They look good. You can sure see the Ethos coming out of the plant genetics.
Using Gaia green, will you top-dress the soil or bubble it in water? I'm just wondering because it's so slow to break down and become available.

I know Organics are super and way worth the trouble and grow the best buds. It takes so long and is so slow and you sound like you got a lot of patience and this will be a good one. Those plants look good. 😎

Hey creeperpark,
Thx. So far so good. First time using earth dust. If this run goes well I’ll continue using it until I’m out. It’s not gonna be available any longer as far as I know.
After that I’d like to try Gaia Green. I’ve been using Dr Earth which works great and is inexpensive.
I use recharge every 2 weeks and molasses in flower. I top dress.
Yeah takes a while but it’s worth it. I’ve used different lights over the years and this ES 180v3 kills. Plant growth and overall health is outstanding. Too bad they went under. :-(

5 days @ 12/12.
Happy w/ the progress so far.
Lights at 17” and 100% power. Will let them grow into the light until they reach
10-12” then if necessary I’ll raise the light. Both are staying relatively short.
As you see I’m not a huge fan of heavy pruning. I’ll remove or tuck just what’s needed to expose bud sites and or increase air flow. I run w/ 3 fans w/
lights on and one w/ lights off..one fan is above the light and devoted to cooling the light, one at mid level, one on the bottom of the tent directing air upwards.
Happy w/ the earth dust results. Wish I had 1 more bag of ‘boost’ as I’ve got an extra bag of the ‘base’ and wanted to finish them off together.
Easy run so far thanks in large part to ethos genetics.

Not a particularly unique looking plant, but healthy. 7 days from flip. Pistols are starting to show. Not sure which cultivar this is? Both are very similar in structure and height.

Didn’t answer your question…will top dress. It is slower but if you’re paying good attention to your plants you should catch any issues early enough to correct. I’m a less is more gardener. I’ve seen way more problems occur w/ growers from using too much rather than too little.

Sorry for the shitty photos. Didn’t feel like moving them. 10 days from flip. Not the fastest to flower but hoping for a strong finish.
Healthy. Water every other day. Temps range from 68 to 81. Lights @ about 12”. I’ve got some room to raise the light but not much.
