Ethiopian sativa

Dang, thank you for the kind words @dubi ! I had been looking forward to growing the Ethiopian for a long time and am glad it turned out well

This was my first tropical/landrace sativa grow, and there was definitely a learning curve. I'm planning to run this strain again next year, hopefully will improve on my results from this round

I'll follow up in a few months with a proper report!

Thanks for seeing that as a joke. Idk why I posted it sometimes when I go back to a comment I ask myself wtf was I thinking, this is one of them...

I need to try again with this strain. My attempt was feeble and while enjoyable herb I'm sure it has a lot more potential than the high stress it went through that season. It was one of the two (the other was Ethiopian also) of five plants that made it so there's that

An Up-feeling and no crash later - its very hard to discribe. A kind of more natural high, then the dutch stuff.

I love that feeling, I would love to add punch to it, but retain that.

What was you favorite of the crosses and was what was the flavor profile of your Ethiopian female?

Have only tested the Ethio x Congo so far, lol.
So many seeds, you know.

So its my favourite from the bunch so far.
Got some green ones, just like the woody Ethio mother and some red ones, just like the congo father. The green ones are my favourite, the red ones give a more stoned effect, but they are all good.

The profile of the female is woody, kind of "light" taste

Really looking forward the test the Ethio x Flo - to my understanding this has to be the ultra great weed that Indiana Jones is hunting for since 30 years.

Bout the Ethio x Durban: Tested another cross with the same father and it shoot me to moon, which I dont like - so this one will be tested in some years - didnt like the other cross - it was swazi x durban, it was muuuuch to strong for my likeing

As said, the red ones of Ethio x Congo are more stoney, but still more clear than your normal dutch hybrid.

Ethio X Durban and Ethio X Swazi sound like potential fire.
I havent read to much into congo but tropical seeds had a few congos that were of interest. This was a few years back and I havent looked since so idk if they still have them.
Ethio X Maui Wowie could be interesting too
