Erdpurt crosses

This year I have decided to make a few crosses to see if I can make a couple strains finish a lil earlier, aswell as do a back cross of the erdpurt.
Well I started a dozen erdpurt reg seeds ( I ish I had 100's to start ) took the earliest female out of three to show(yha three thats pretty bad avrg, seeds right from ACE) and the earliest male to show of 9.The male 5 days on 12/12 and it had balls...and the first female was picked out on the same day just five days after 12/12.I will use the pollen to breed a few other strains i have not expecting alot but want more erdpurt seeds, aswell as to try a few crosses of it.Here is a list of the strains i will be crossing the erdpurts with.

I have several other strains that are new to me started now aswell ,so if I have any luck bagging the pollen I will have the option of getting some crosses out of them.Just playin around but main objective is to get a new keeper strain as I have been growing white widow since 94 and its hard to find a strain compareable to it for growth aswell as potenecy.After last season in which i tried 26 diff strains and only kept two..Cheers

Seems you gonna be doing some pollen chucking... Erdpurts are pretty nice aesthetically wise, but in terms of potency and smells pretty discreet too. They are good for northern growers who want to grow sturdy and beautiful strains outdoors and be able to finish them properly, that's what they were made for. Be careful with the Erdpurt F2s that ACE sells though, they hermie a lot, especially indoors (and I don't mean just unfertile bananas):

It's a pity that original seeds from Hybrids From Hell (Esben) are out of stock. He used to have both green and purple Erdpurt available in separate lines.

I have received an old batch of Erdbeer seeds from Switzerland years ago but unfortunately, they won't sprout due to the seed age.

I am doing a project similar to this myself. I have grown the Erdpurt before and Musta is right. Its not that potent but definitely has its place in lowering the flowering time and adding some color to whatever you pollinate with it.
I want to use an early finishing Apollo 11 male too. Freezeland makes for some nice hybrids too..For sure. I'll be watching!!

I work with Erdpurt for years, pretty good strain. Esbe thank you very much for this contribution to the cannabis world. It not has an intense aroma but it enhances the flavour in crosses enormously, also add some beautiful colors and bud density. My C99 x Erdpurt is one dank tropical-berry-grapefruit-stinker.

all of them were special in flavour. I think it is comin from the Erdpurt side.

hugo-how did the erdpurt deep chunk finish up? I live right at the 49th in northern ontario.I am a medical pataint have been for a few yrs I take my shovel to southern ontario for the long day strains but try to have a nice garden here in the north.I have grown a type of freezeland the locals called alaskan clover and it seemed pretty good but kinda like an auto affie or wolf island sativa's(from what i understand) they seem to be tough to keep in veg and after a cpl yrs I had to dump it, but not before i crossed it to bad the only pollen i had stored was DNA pure afghan.

ace's new erdpurt stock is supposed to have the hermie issues sorted out after they stopped selling it for a while for that exact reason.

i have grown erdpurt (from esbe, not ace) guerrilla style and it is the most sturdy stemmed plant i have ever seen. when i had them vegging inside i could pick the plants up by the stems without worrying about damaging them. very early and mold resitant even with it's rock hard nugs. not the most potent but great potential in crosses. the smell and taste are not very strong but a very pleasant earthy coffee pine.

Erdbeer x Deep Chunk was very resinous and potent but a bit late, 16th oct.
I'dont have any pictures of c99 x cinderella plants but I can take a picture of a dried bud.

The blueberry x erdpurt also sounds like it should have some great potential outdoors.

I think the two that I am most excited about are the tutankhoman X erdpurt and my ol white widow X erdpurts.Best art is i will be able to try em this season.I will post the best cross pics my seed room this round is better then baskin robins...they only got 21 flavours!

Cannacopia's Roadkill Skunk x Deep Chunk crossed with Erdpurt 2011.
Copious resin and nice colors. Unfortunately turned out to be a hermie. The only hermie I ever had outdoor. Unremarkable smell, smooth taste and a weak dull high. So, I decided not to work on this hybrid.
