Epsom Salts Added to Soil?

Potentate

Hey there,

I'm brewing up a soil mix and am wondering, in general, how much epsom salts can be added to a given volume.

Thanks.

i dont know about adding it to the soil but i use about a tsp per gallon when i water.
EDIT: more like every other watering.

epsom salt is much less damaging and much more effective as a "foiler feed" I generally dont have to ever use it, but it's def. best to mix it w/ water and spray it on your leaves at the beginning of the dark cycle.

this prevents salt buildup on the roots which can lockout some micro nutrients.

I think its probbly ok to water w/ it very occasionally, but i'd be real careful.

I have added 1Tbs per Gallon of soil before planting before with no problems. I havwe since stopped, and I don't see the need for it at this point. I just add 1 Tbs/G of water about every 3 weeks now. MJ does love the epsom salts, as do tomatoe plants.

Cheers,

Use 1Tbs/gal of soil. I think this is more pertinant when growing Indica Dom. strains..they really gobble the stuff up.
