Environmental Controllers Recommendation

Any suggestions for environmental controllers from guys who have experience with them?

I've seen a couple of options but when researching notice that most of the information on these controllers is years old...

Looking to control Heat, AC, Exhaust and C02(to be added later)

Agrowtek hands down, bit pricey, so many options for controlling and monitoring. I've installed several Agrowtek controllers in the last two years and no complaints from clients.

HVAC guy - There products look great, I will have to look into their products! I am what you would call a hobby grower but would like to set up a somewhat professional outfit so a controller like these are great. Have you tried any of the Titan controllers and if so, what sets the Agrowtek apart?

sog army - I have seen the Trolmaster and its definitely something I'm interested in.

For just heat and exhaust I use the $25 inkbird controller. Might get you by till you get going bigger
They have lots of options

Rodehazrd - Thanks for chiming in! I have actually been looking at these, they are just the two plug controller, yeah? They also have one for humidity as well, I think.

How do you find controlling Humidity with just fans? Thanks for the input as I'm on the fence about going with a professional unit just yet...

I use a 308 to control my wood boiler to open the fan door and run the blower.. It has a cooling and a heating outlet. They work fine and are reliable. I had a solenoid short out once and roasted the triac in one which just made it stick on. At that price I just replaced it rather than take it apart. I also use one to monitor temp in a passive solar system to turn on a fan and move a damper.
They are so cheap you won't lose much if you don't like it, but whats not to like cheap and works.

I really like my Sentinel CHHC-4. It is 10 years old and works perfectly. It's quite adjustable and has never given me any problems.

I like my inkbird humidity/temp regulator. I think it's saved but alot everytime I hear it turn on/off my humidifier and dehumidifier. Tried a hyper Fan low speed to dehumidify. Worked too hard. Switched back to dehumidifier option

I'm a small scale medical home grower and I use the Link4 Iponic 624 and I absolutely love it, I have been using for roughly 2 years and it has been flawless. It has the capacity to control 8 different 120v outputs and 2 separate rooms , I can run all 8 channels in just one room or 3 in one room and 5 in another, whatever I want it to to do. I can log into it from anywhere and make adjustments as needed

1. I control my irrigation pump, it allows down to 1 second on and off intervals, plus the ability to do multiple timed waterings.. ex.. at 7am(lights on) every day the pump runs for 2 minutes, but the daily cycle is 30 seconds every 60 minutes.. this allows you to give a heavy feeding when the lights first come on, then go to a upkeep watering cycle after that.

2. staged dehumidification...so the system will have a channel for dehumidification which will keep the room at 55% , however if the humidity ever jumps above 65% the system will employ the exhaust fan( or any channel I designate) to bring the humidity back in check, what this does is gives you humidity protection when the dehumidifier goes thru a deicing cycle and shuts down, myself i have a small room with a high plant load and my humidity will skyrocket in only a couple of minutes.

3. Staged cooling... same idea as with the dehumidification but with cooling

Sadly I am out of time but I can strongly recommend the Iponic 624.. it's not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive, but the value is there in what it does do .. I started growing back in the early 1990's and have used almost everything under the sun along the way and so far this is the cream of the crop room controller for a home grower like me

Damn!!! That's looking amazing, are those LED Strip builds? My HPS have crapped the bed so I'm thinking of building my own in a similar space to yours. The controller looks awesome but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit that much $$ for one yet. Keep up the good work!

Thank you ! they are SolSheetX LED panels ..controller was indeed pricey, for me I am a legal medical grower and plan to grow for many years so I didn't mind making the investment.

Where I am it's legal for recreational use but I am interested in helping out some family who have medical needs as well. I could definitely see myself making the investment but I'm not quite there yet. Thanks for sharing.

Dont waste your money on a Sentinel, its old and way too expensive. There are better options out there.

Do you want logging and online alert capability?

What kind of an AC are you running? Mini split?

Don- logging would be nice, alerts...not so much since there are so many options I can buy separately for relatively cheap.

I may not need AC since I will be switching to LED. I will supplement with my homes AC as needed and I have an extra window unit I can install if temps really soar.
