[English] Outdoor growing in Warszawa?

Hey guys, I know this is the Polish section of the forum, however I had a few questions. Currently I'm living here in Warszawa and was thinking of starting my first outdoor grow.. possibly in one of these: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=61321

If I start now (seeing as how the weather is continuing to improve) I know that they won't be ready by July 2nd (which is when I'm going home). However I was wondering if they would be okay sitting around until I come back to Poland (September 20th). I'm not too worried about the neighbors.. as I have a lot of plants growing around my property, and if it were growing in a "trash can scrog" (above link), I REALLY wouldn't be too worried. I could just stick it in some corner of my yard.

Anyway.. let me know what you think. I'm curious to figure out if this is a possibility. I'm not sure how long marijuana can sit around ready to harvest.. and I don't know the average time for an outdoor grow with Warszawa weather.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Sorry for the english post.. my Polish is quite limited. However if you must, feel free to respond in polish and I'll do my best to understand.

Its little to long in my opinion. If you will leave plants unattended for almost 3 months ,there are a few things which can happen to them-mold infection (untreated can be deadly for plants), nutrients deficiencies, PH problems etc. However, if your yard is "super save" you could try.

You should read few threads about guerilla growing and then youll have decide.

Hope it helps.

Okay cool, that does help actually. I was already aware that.. leaving them alone may be risky. However I was planning on taking a risk and seeing if it would work. I'll look into guerrilla growing as you said. Definitely plan on doing lots of research :)

Also, if it's too long, I could always start growing it later.. up to July 2nd. Yeah they would still be unattended, however I was thinking in case they don't reach full maturity before I come back, it may be a safe bet to waiting on the planting. But again, I have no idea how long it takes.. or how long they can stay matured before harvesting is too late.

The problem with this trashcan grow is that you'll have to water you plants. And they are not gonna live through 3 months of no water. Leaving matured plants stand for any prolonged time is also a bad idea (product deteriorating, eventually mold will destroy it, hemp dies when it is done flowering).
If you yard is safe, then plant it straight into the soil, although I would rather recommend scouting the general surrounding for guerrilla spots (brings it's own set of problems, but is not as big a risk for your freedom as the other option).
As to the "average time" for an outdoor grow... Depending on the variety, weed is ready to harvest from the beginning of Sept till the end of Oct in this part of the world. Tropical sativas that would need to go till Nov, Dec and further are obviously not practicable in Poland. The sooner you plant the bigger will the plant get, but in most cases (except autos) won't flower earlier.
You obviously need to do the research you're planing to do. The sooner the better. The season is already under way.
I advise you to take a serious approach to the project. Otherwise no point risking your freedom. (well a little plant that yields you 10g or 20g will probably not get you into trouble, but this stash won't last you very long and also it can happen that what you thought that would be a little plant, will be a 2m christmastree stinking to high heavens when you come back on the 20th of Sept. Your neighbors might not appreciate the skunk smell blowing over :smoke:)
