sadly my best friend has passed, she was a 13 year old english lab, an incredible dog, an incredible friend, It was one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do, she died in my arms and it ripped my heart out.
Im doing better and have recently started looking into her ancestors to try and get the bloodlines that dominated her genes. I know i will never replace her but im thinking that a dog with similar qualities would be a good start. One of the dogs in her line that has impressed me was from a uk breeder, ch Cambremers tudor minstrel, the son of ch cambremers all that jazz and ch rocheby royal oak. I really like these cambremer dogs because they are very representative of her. I havent had any luck contacting the kennel and Im curious on how hard and $$$ it is to import a UK dog to the US. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
