Hey everyone, I found this company Empire Organics who produces coir, chips and some other items that I found interesting. I was wondering if anyone has used their products and if you liked them?

I didn't find any threads on them really so maybe someone will post something now

Top notch Coco, very clean no need to flush prior to use. You can order at Humbolt Hydro, I don't know if they added it to the website but if you call they will ship it out to you unless you live near by then drive over and pick it up.

Peace..

Have had excellent results with their coir chips and their coir products. Have had an OG mom sitting in just their coir chips for 6+ months and she loves it. Really good drainage, excellent air/water ratio and hard to overwater.

A while back I had some critical mass, love potion and some other seeds that were started in their coco peat product. A week later I germed some more seeds and placed them in to the coco chips, the growth rate in the chips was awesome and they caught up to then exceeded the ones in coco peat in size & height although less stable & needed a stake. The straight chips requires some lava rock or perlite to aid in creating some kind of anchor for the roots.

Their products are clean & provide great results.

Have you tried their coco coir vs. the coco chips? I've never used coco before and don't know the difference to much from the chips and coir. I believe the coir is just finer version of the chips.

Do the roots grow through the chips or around the chips? Are they reusable?

This coco from empire organics looks amazing. I mean I don't think it really matters that much on the type of coco as long as you rinse and everything since it is an inert media, but this stuff just attracts my attention mainly the chips because it seems to be the perfect coco for use in say a multi flow because of the quick drainage. I'm going to be heading to LA to pick some up at their shop.

I have used their chips and their coarse coco. I prefer the coarse stuff. The chips don't retain as much water so you simply need to water more often. I highly recommend their coco!
