Emergency, stalks broken

I had to support the hydrofarm CFL fixture and a plank of wood that was holding it up fell on the plants. 2 of them got their stalks badly broken, so much that they can't hold up their own leaves. I wrapped a rice paper (by elements) around each stalk and they are leaning a little but holding up. I'm running the fan on them gently under normal lighting and hoping they'll stay alive and outgrow the joint-casts. Any suggestions on helping them recover? maybe adding water to the cast? You should be ok
Just keep an eye on em
and keep the light from burning them little water is reaching them now.
They should Out grow this,
Try to keep the break as closed as possible.

You could also make a Splint out of a Popsicle stick or similar.
Let the tops lean against other branches helps.
Might take a week to heal.

also I'm getting yellowing at the tips and brown spotting, not only on the broken one but on the one next to it. Can you help?

Not much you can do about that now.
Make SURE the light is not burning the tops!

I also have used Masking Tape to great effect.

My girlfriend has done that twice.. Tape works.. In fact the place it 'broke' grew very thick and strong.

well.. in the wild.. if something broke a branch would the sun change? I'll have to say no, so I'd leave the light where it is. If the leaves can handle it then then next set will.

Yes.
I only worry about the broken tops scorching. If they doing ok then dont do anything, if you have other Unbroken tops they will want the light they have. To help keep the canopy even.
Best NOT to move it... but if you must, you can.

If you had a pic we'd be able to say for sure. I guess if you 'fixed' it higher then it was before.. Know what I mean? I'd keep it the same distance from the plant.. if you raised the plant with the tap by 2 inches then you might raise the light 2 inches. (example)

Well here's an update. The broken plants are doing fine with their rice paper cast. I'm blowing a light fan on them from afar and they hold up ok. I take off the CFL for a few hours each day just to lessen the burning, they were raised under low light and are still not ready for that much it seems. I don't think it will hurt the plants if they have 4 hours or so of incandescent light, being almost 4 weeks old, they should be experiencing progressively shorter than 24 hour lighting until the 12/12 lighting sets in. About the nature comment, I don't think emulating nature is the right step because in nature either the plant would die, or the top would be removed and new growth would start. I've decided instead to help them grow through the breakage as if I was doing Soma's supercropping tek. On other matters, three of the plants have those brown blotches now, I took several pics and one came out right; so here it is.
