I'm trying to eliminate emails going to my in box and I've checked no notications and have (no email notification) in the drop down however I'm still getting them .Why?

If you don't want emails, why are you allowing emails from other users? Check that option. Exactly which email notifications are you getting?

I'm getting emails informing me of anybody replying to threads I'm subscrided too.my home page shows my emails which i'd rather others did't see.

Yes, as I said you've opted to allow members to email you. And when you subscribe to a thread it asks you if you want to be emailed or not. So you've selected to receive all these emails, and you can undo your selections in your control panel - My IC.

Tks for your interest Skip but that's why I'm frustrated as I did that but alas I'm still getting them.

OK, then I've deleted ALL your subscriptions, so you won't get anymore emails.
