Electronic Ballasts and "super lumen" feature.

Hello everyone. Just started to use 600´s light bulb since they were not available in my country in the past.

I bought a "power grow" electronic ballast, wich has 250, 400, 600, and "super lumen feature"

I just bought a couple of General electric Localux 600 HPS. Lights are working good..... BUT.... I started reading about electronic ballasts and realized that GE says that their bulb doesnt work for any electronic Ballast.

I am kind of afraid by switching to "super lumen feature" cause I dont know if the bulb Will be ok. Please if any has info about this would be great.
Any input is appreciated. :) !!!

I have a GE Lucalux 600w HPS lamp on a Galaxy electronic ballast. It works just fine.

That super lumen function will put additional power into the bulb. I would not recommend doing it for a bulb that is advertised as not for electronic ballasts. That will also rise temperature and shorten bulbs life. :2cents:
