Electronic Ballasts and "super lumen" feature.

Hello everyone. Just started to use 600´s light bulb since they were not available in my country in the past.

I bought a "power grow" electronic ballast, wich has 250, 400, 600, and "super lumen feature"

I just bought a couple of General electric Localux 600 HPS. Lights are working good..... BUT.... I started reading about electronic ballasts and realized that GE says that their bulb doesnt work for any electronic Ballast.

I am kind of afraid by switching to "super lumen feature" cause I dont know if the bulb Will be ok. Please if any has info about this would be great.
Any input is appreciated. !!!

I have a GE Lucalux 600w HPS lamp on a Galaxy electronic ballast. It works just fine.

Ok. Are you runing it with the "super lumen" or something like that?????

That super lumen function will put additional power into the bulb. I would not recommend doing it for a bulb that is advertised as not for electronic ballasts. That will also rise temperature and shorten bulbs life.
