Electricity meter help!

My electricity meter is dead but I'm still getting power ok but i can't put credit in it?

Its dead with power on I expect it'll stay on as its not registering units used, what do you think?
I can't have the power going of for more than a few minutes it stinks the neighbours would be on it in no time and that's Trouble!

I suppose I'm hoping it fixes itself idk what to do here?

The likely scenario is you will have to keep it running for the smell..
neither I’m I familiar with your metre..

In the mean time add some extra 1000 watt bulbs, 10 should do the trick.

if you have a electric or pre-paid meter I'd call your electric supplier. they can often figure things out remotely.

The threat with calling them is worst case they're going to be here changing the meter, I don't expect it'd take long but even an hour the smell isn't containable.

If I knew it'd stay on I would buy electricity as normal so on the surface its ok?

I could do without this hassle right now it's a bad time.

Burn some toast, and a fat spliff and call them up.

A lot of the meter changers i know enjoy a smoke too.

So I’m the past I’ve faced shit like this., this is how I played it.
I call the power company and get the info on what needs to happen.
I tell the power company my bull mastiff will bite who ever comes around and it needs to be scheduled to avoid this outcome.
Get a date and time from lower company.
Rent a truck and put your plants in it. You may have to get BIG white ware boxes to do this. You may need friends too help you. You will need $$$ for This.
Drive the truck some where safe for the day. Even better if you can unload the plants so they don’t stick again the truck to much. You gonna have to clean it anyways.
Once work is done restock your grow show.

I've seen something about burning smoke to clean it, this got me thinking about burning the smell in my diesel heater.

As in the tent is the air filter/supply so that smell going out has been combusted with diesel?

Yeah a small generator will handle the fans and won't get the fire department called for smoke.

Yes a generator would be great worst case I only need a fan running so a generator would work fine for a short spell, it'd also give me peace of mind moving forward.

Does anyone know anything about invertors and 12v battery systems?
From the little i know I think its possible they'd make an alternative option for emergency fan power?

I was just thinking about invertors, is the invertor a better option to keep a 100w fan running?

If it’s a smart meter you can also use the card or barcode on the app to top up at the local shop (if in uk)
Just add enough to keep it going until chop.
Could also just be the battery gone in the display?
