I have a bit of a problem...I know I fucked up somewhere.
I was only running 2 1000's plus alot of other stuff. I have another room that is't doning anything beside it...an air freshener was plugged in an outlet in the room beside it... all of a sudden I don't have any electric running in the room. It's just dead. I went to check the breaker but nothing is wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I overloaded the wire..but why would it turn everything off?? and how can i fix it?? I went out to turn the water on, outside, and that doesn't work either??? what is gooing on....like I said, I know i fucked up somewhere, I just need help getting out of this problem.
how someone can help me...

check the breakers to make sure they are really on. sometimes when a breaker trips, it wont look like it is.
shut the breakers off one by one, and turn them back on.
waters off?
do you have a well pump for water?
is all your electric in the whole house off?
did you pay your utilities bills?

Sounds to me like you may have lost an entire leg in your panel.Do you have a voltage tester?If so check the two hots coming into the main breaker,if one is dead you have a disconnect between the meter and the panel.It could be a fused disconnect in which case only one fuse need be replaced,if its a "breaker enclosure" style disconnect the breaker must be replaced.

If your panel is balanced worth a crap,and about half of your electrcity is out and about half works,that is your problem.

When a breaker flips, man, it doesn't go to the ''off'' position. This position is the 'flipped' or 'overloaded' position, and is in fact, just a bit back from full on. It's done this way, so that you'll know which one flipped: many breaker panels have several breakers kept off. If that happened and you couldn't tell, the troubleshooting would be a nightmare.

One of those breakers, is just a ....B I T back from full-on. Check em by going down the line, and with your thumb, push them toward: ON.

One of them will not be already firmly to the 'on' side, and immovable: but will have about 3/4in of springy movement to it.

When you locate that one, flip it fully back, to OFF. It'll give a nice '*SNAP*' TO OFF, then turn it back on;

however it sounds to me, like your well pump is on the same leg as those lights; you've got that circuit overloaded. Do some research on adding up amperage on a circuit, total watts; that kind of thing. the voltage: times the amps: is the watts; so, the total watts you're using is a good enough representation of how much power you're using.

He said nothing was wrong with the breaker,but he couldn't understand why it would turn everything off.Nevertheless,information most excellent indeed!
