gas powered pump is abit risky... here is a stealth solution:

20 dollar simple reliable diaphragm pump... loud as a hair trimmer, silent if you cover it up abit.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221147845279?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
and it can pump 30 meters up hill, i think 1/2" pipe only loses .25 psi of power every 100feet due to friction.
20 watts, 3l seems to be the best efficiency and pricepoint, so if you leave it on 10 hours all night, you come back you have 180 litres, 50 gallons...
if you are on very flat terrain get a regular high flow low pressure pump with fast output.

solar panel

... cover it in bubble wrap for sky invisibility (glare)
panel regulator:

it stops your battery every getting too low, so it will turn the pump off anytime battery is empty.

12v battery...

timer:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hot-12V-D..._Measurement_Equipment_ET&hash=item1c2f8d2c92
so you can tell water pump to just run at night..

you can put in an irrigation fertiliser injector: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Drip-Irrigation-Fertilizer-Injector-pint-HT-/260678887429

with this system, you can pump easily 3 tons of water in a summer up 100 feet, maybe 1000 feet away? like 200 meters distance.

a 20ah battery can probably put through 2 tons with a high pressure pump and in about 12 hrs

and 5 tons of water on flat land with a low pressure pump like 600gph

fuck petrol!!!!!!!
