Hi everyone, just a quick question. Do any of you worry about power spikes? If so how do you over come it? Im trying everything to make sure that when I start my grow I have the least amount of trouble. I really do not want to get into trouble. ITs only a 5x5 600w HPS 600w ballast 2 fans ones an induct. water pump and air pump.

Should I get this stuff http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLOCK-IR-IN...ker-Thermal-Shield-feet-foot-50-/400244166137 ??

Has anyone tried it or know if it works?:thank you:

Heat has to go somewhere. Causing it to dissipate across a larger area makes it less conspicuous, and dissipating at least some of it into the ground is even better as in a basement grow.

What Grass Lands said- never show anybody your grow, always use effective odor control methods. Scrupulously avoid situations where the police have reason to knock on your door. If they do, have the means to know it's them, go out the back, lock the door behind you, go talk to them out front.

Growers are sitting ducks compared to dealers, who may or may not have bust-able quantities on hand at any given moment.

Those are rules to live by, even here in Colorado.
