Electric Line guerilla?

Just a thought cruising through the mountains yesterday, the big long stretch of powerlines that go throughout the hills, beneath them are long stretches of underbrush ranging from 2ft to 6ft tall brush and trees about 40 to 50ft in width and miles long. I know the electric companies spray these with herbicides, but how often would they do this? And I know they have to use aircraft to spray I don't see people on foot doing all that spraying. Is it a hit and miss growing in these? Anyone ever tried it? Would be perfect place for late plantings!

The ones im eyeing out do not have any trails or evidence of being checked by vehicle. They honestly could not get a truck or even an atv through them. I guess they could drive an atv through them but I doubt that lol. I have seen them before where there had been vehicles go through, but not these particular ones. Do you know how often they spray them?

They generally spray or come through and bushwack/burn all undergrowth every few years (3-5 year cycles)...

Keep an eye out, as they are a great place to plant, but lots of foot traffic/eyes and you never know when they are coming through to clear cut the whole thing.

Thanks Brozini for the info. Thats what I was thinking, every few years. I hope they dont do it this year looks like its been a couple years since they done it. They don't have cameras set up on these types of property do they?

its probably not a good idea to do guerilla near power lines. we have pg&e come to our ranch up to 4 times per year to spray and rake around the power poles. they rake up all the pine needles and leaves within 10ft of the poles and spray some shit around the base of the pole.
we also have the pg&e choopers flying low as fuck every summer to check heat of transformers on the power poles. the pg&e guy is usually chill and i know he has seen my plants. i was talking to him last time he came by and he said he has seen all kinds of crazy shit but he keeps it to himself.. lol good luck bro !
