For people like me whose arthritis in the hands especially makes it sometimes painful to grind, is there an electric grinder of sorts on the market that is small enough to put a small bud in etc, ( not a big coffee bean grinder etc ), I guess similar in size to a 2 1/2 -3 inch sharp crusher type grinder that with the press of a button.....whew am I high, sorry to be so repetitive lol :tiphat:

Those definitely exists. Just Google for Electric weed grinder.
On AliExpress you can grab one for less then 5$ if you don't mind waiting 3 weeks for it.
The same ones sell for 9$ on Amazon.

I was at my local headshop a few weeks ago, and I saw one on the shelf for $110. Don't remember the name, just the price.

Normally their prices are reasonable. So I assume it's a regularly pricey item, not just marked up because they can.

ETA - Found it. The Otto by the Banana Bros. $90 on Amazon. I did not know it would automatically grind and fill a premade cone, so that's kind of cool.

Most of the battery operated ones don't work for shit. I have the same issues with arthritis and I grind a half ounce a day to smoke or vape.

Of all the grinders I bought only 2 were worth a shit. The Chewy and the Chomper. I bought the Chewy 2 and it was awesome but just too damn small for my needs. Might be perfect for you. A little pricey but well worth it. Great customer service from the seller/manufacturer in Ireland. also. I did see a bigger one called the banana or something but I ended up using the CHOMPER....

The ones I’ve seen didn’t look particularly effectual. I’d think that the amount of toque needed to crush through some of those denser nugs would wear out a little pocket sized motorized grinder. It’s a novel idea, though.

I use a dedicated food processor. A coffee grinder might pulverize everything down too far, too quickly.

My little 2-speed $30 food processor puts in work. Chop setting makes for material with the coarseness you’d find from a grinder, and pulverize takes it down almost to a coarse powder.

Goofy thinking about the blisters I used to get grinding through big runs.

If I were you, I would just stuff a little plastic film canister with dope from the food processor and keep a cute little serving spoon in der.

Panasonic. Small. Works for about 2 ounces (one bud at a time). Cheap shit.

The misses and I grind at least a quarter per day and use a dedicated spice grinder. It takes a delicate touch to not reduce your weed to powder, however. For 1/2 Oz and more at one time I use an AC powered salad shooter with the fine shredder cone.

Just this guy, ya know?
Never had any luck with the electronic ones. Feel like I should 3d print like a big knob that goes around the grinder top to make it much easier to grip and turn.

^Go to the advanced tab, select the YouTube tag and paste in the code that is after the equal sign of the YouTube video link you want to paste in. (Or after the / in the short youtu.be notation). Don't paste in the entire link.

For example:

You want to embed these links.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wna7WqkvnTo
https://youtu.be/wna7WqkvnTo

Then only copy from the equal sign forward wna7WqkvnTo and paste in this code between the YouTube tags.

(This is a review video of those 5$ Chinese ones)

^^^

Put a couple light dents around the rim of the lid with a spoon or butter knife. Pops right off.

My 110 lb gf opens all her own lids now. I only ever opened one jar for her some 6 years ago.

I’ll open and hold the doors and pull out her chairs, but I’m not the type to go around opening chip baggies or pickle jars for an adult.

That's new to me too ringo.the only saving factor of those grinders is collecting the kief on the sides of the lid which that ball design seems to lack.thats a stupid grinder for a stupid price
