Eggs? No crawlers? Broad Mites?

Hello,

I'd like some help in seeing if I have the dreaded broad mite. As of now the girls are still perky and green and drinking plenty, however I started to see the leaf margins in flower taco in a little and it got me worried. In veg I there are two leaves that have twisted.

I used a 60x scope and the tops of leaves come up clear and the bottoms of the leaves I see what may be eggs, or it may be my paranoia. Nonetheless, I haven't been able to see a single crawling, or dead for that matter, mite. And I also realize these symptoms can be attributed to environment and nute parameters.

Kind of look like whitefly eggs, have you used any yellow collection sticky traps to see if anything lands on them? It's a nice cheap way to monitor when you're not sure. Try them hanging and around the base of the plant. I have seen little dots on leaves as well, and I'm not sure they're all eggs, and not just the early trichromes without the stalks.

Broad mite eggs have little spikes, look up pics, also look up hemp russet mite eggs. You cant tell from the pics. You wont see a mite with 60x (unless infestation is so bad you can see a brown orange squirmy swarm on a bent plant) but can see the egg detail if you look very closely. Taco could be the heat and humidity fluctuations...but if you do have bms you want to ID asap...once you do click the link in my sig to eradicate them if you do...peace

P.s. white flies transmit bms who hitch a ride on them sometimes

That tacoing is front heat or something. Believe me if you had broad mites you would know all about it. New growth is horribly stunted and crumpled. You don't have broad mites go smoke a joint and be thankful for good fortune!

I haven't seen any fliers. I am pretty diligent in looking for fungus gnats and fliers in the garden. I have sticky traps that I can put up to make sure something is t lurking though.

I was going to say those dots look like trichomes. Possibly capitate sesille (sp?) trichomes.
