effects of a guitar speaker on ballasts and bulbs..

hey was wondering if a 12 inch guitar speaker would affect the functionality of a 250w hps digital ballast or a hps bulb?

I personally wouldn't hook a speaker, first and foremost, why?

Even a small hps can give a power-spike wich will melt the internals.
They cannot handle the amps/volts.

I just hope hope ur home when the internals melt, and spark a flame to the speaker. No pun inteded, but please, why?

The only time this might be an issue is if your plugged into the same circuit as the ballast. But even then I don't know. I seriously doubt the sound frequensies from the speaker itself will cause a problem either. I have a whole studio set up one wall away from the grow and have never had a problem.

I plug into a Marshall VS100 and a shit load of digital effects. Same electrical panel is being used as the grow is on.

If anything I would expect the ballast to screw with the amp. Not the amp with the ballast.
