If there are plants they will be assimilated!

The one time I got mites I killed them by chopping and letting them starve.

Anything that kills them and saves the crop would be awesome.

i've had good results with neem oil for spider mites. but i went every fukin leaf thru with coffeefilter dipped in neem oil/water mix. hell of a job if you got a lot of plants and already flowering. good luck, mites are the worst!

i use water to soften them up before the attack!

mites don't develop a resistance to water. this is a good tip, trust me...

plain water w/ 1 drop of dishsoap is a good recipe, make sure to get BOTTOMS of leaves good. good luck

I used his "natural" fungicide on my plants. It burned the fuck out of them even when it was very diluted. I'd say be careful with with any of his products. On the container it even says "avoid over dilution", and even when it was very diluted it still burned the fuck out of my Hindu Kush cross.

Zero Tolerance...

Zero Tolerance...

I asked my local shop about this product and he said the rep had told him to dilute it by almost half strength for smaller plants, slowly increasing the strength. This along with Protekt helped keep mites to a minimum, way less infection then when I have used just dishsoap and water alone. I thought it worked alright IMO.

Zero Tolerance Works

Zero Tolerance Works

Zero Tolerance is an awesome way to fight Mites and Live Gnats. It can be used up to 5 days before harvest sprayed directly onto the flowers as well as underside of leaves. The natural spices (cinnamon heavy) evaporate within 5 days making it a great organic pesticide that leaves no adverse taste or smell.

Just like Neem Oil, it has to be used every 3 times over 9 days to break the propagation of mites.

I still have to use Gnatrol for gnat larvae but I use the Zero Tolerance spray for the live ones.

it works pretty good, is a bit pricey, doesn't work as well as neem or spinosad.....but....it smells really good and you can use it in late flower.

I think it works just as good as Neem Oil which can only be used in Vegatative. Zero Tolerance allows foliar application up to 5 days prior to harvest. You can just spray the shit out of them and not have to worry about getting anything on the flowers themselves like when you use Neem.

Plus, the smell makes for an awesome cover up. When I hang my shit to dry, I spray Zero Tolerance in the foyer. ZT is made of Cinnamon Oil, Cinnamon Bark & Leaf, Rosemary Oil, Clove Bud Oil, and Thyme Oil so its a pleasant smell that kill Mites, APhids, whiteflies, ants, caterpillars, gnats, root aphids, mealy bugs, scale, powerdy mildew, gray and white mold. It is family and pet friendly that is environmentally safe and bio degradable.

I buy the 5 gallon concentrate FTW!!

i used this product with great success! except for with my barely rooted cuts which withered and died within 24 hrs. yes, you do want to dilute, i cant remember the particulars, but directions come with. i think, and i say think, the reason i tried it was it was 100% organic. but i could be wrong about that. it was when it first came out and i was given it to test. have not seen mites since.

I used it, but was too late...it smelled real nice. Does anyone know if you can use it as a preventative or only when needed?

it's 100% vegan food grade materials, doesn't state organic, it's good to use as preventive measure because it also acts as a fungicide. i dilute heavy and spray more often.

anybody try using their own Cinnamon Oil, Cinnamon Bark & Leaf, Rosemary Oil, Clove Bud Oil, and Thyme Oil in homemade sprays?

That's a great Q!
N this is a great thread.
I haven made this recipe yet bc I didn't find the lecithin I wanted to use but it's a very solid sounding mix!!!

I had to dig up the actual quote to give cred to the Op.
They have my thanx;D

I know that ZT is not a popular pesticide here. That is because people are using it to get rid of bugs from their already disgusting grow room. It will not work for this. If you have a pest problem then what you need is a pair of scissors. That is all you need to know about that from me right now.

If you spray your NON bug infested garden every 3-4 days with this you can, for the most part, prevent most pest attacks. However, contaminated soil, plants, people, areas will get pest and mold anyway. So I just thought I would clear that up before being told that this stuff does not work. It is to help prevent attacks.

Here is a recipe I created from reading the side of the bottle of Ed Rosenthals Zero Tolerance. By ordering the ingredients for about $75 you can make 25 gallons of a very similar product. Hopefully this info will keep someone from poisoning themselves or their friends.

This is to make the 1 quart 5 gallon concentrate. It will be further diluted when you are done.

Water 364ml
Cassia Cinnamon oil 45.4ml
Rosemary oil 22.7ml
Thyme oil 22.7ml
Clove oil 22.7ml
Lecithin 18.9ml
Vegetable glycerine 473.2

The Lecithin was the only part that was a problem because it was a nasty mess I suggest heating in a pot of water before starting. Other then that I mixed everything into the veg glycerine and then added filtered water. It took about a week to get the Lecithin to fully emulsify with the liquid. The product looks and smells just like the real thing for much less.

This will make 5 gallons.
To mix up one gallon: Use 3/4 cup plus 1 tbsp of the above mix.

This can then according to the directions be applied directly. But I do not recommend this unless you are having some problems and you really want to try this. My recipe for every 4 day spraying in the vegging cycle is as follows:

1 quart of water
1 cup of zero tolerace home made pesticide
2 tsp einstein oil
4 drops ivory classic soap
6 drops coco wet

Next fill your sprayer, preferably a flow master atomister. All of the ingredients have also been listed in maximum yield in a "home made pesticide guide" article. But, anyway Thanks Ed!

Good luck. Please post up all your success and the dilution ratios u guys like.

Big ups respect and happy growing!
