i'm thinking a 10-14 day veg for my next run. this run was a 21 day veg 14"-18" and they almost got outta hand. 3-4" more for the lights to rise and that was it. cant imagine what those 4' will do in 5 gal! indoor trees of deez!!!!! oh ya, got my vt in today........ all i can think of is the airport bathroom @ 6 am. you really got that smell right!!!

IMHO, you are one of the master diesel grower's here on IC. Your diesel strain's are always some of the best on this website.

Well Rocky Mtn, I've been trying like hell to make this plant right and starting this thread was one of the best things I've ever done for my growing, esp of course the ecsd.Like I said earlier I started these plants on 12/12 at about 6-7 inches and they ended up about 3ft tall.This is how I like my diesel to look, it's been a bit cold and very windy so she's showing some purple, I couldn't fit the top of the plant in the messy pic.It's a wild jungle in this room with more projects happening than I have fingers...

So a synopsis of growing tips for sour D that I learned from this thread:
-make sure to flower the SD @ no more than 1ft b/c it stretches about 3x in bloom
-Give her enough Nitrogen to make the full 75-85 days flower time
-DO NOT introduce Phosphorus too early in bloom. 3-4 weeks is the best time to add P?
-SD is temperamental about temps and light leaks

I grew out Rez's ECSDv3 in 2005-2006 out in my shed in a C13 cabinet based on Maliboo's setup from OG. This strain has been, by far, the most powerful, life changing weed I've ever smoked. People I shared it with called it "laced" which I laughed at because I grew it and knew it was the real deal, but of course I didn't tell them that, I simply just chuckled under my breath at their stupidity.

I asked Rez recently in a thread directed to him on his AAA Rez Seeds blah blah blah forum, whether or not the Sour Diesel and East Coast were one and the same, and of course received no response. Why? Because I don't believe them to be one and the same.

The East Coast is some very special herb. Very sharp tasting. The smell is unimaginably odorous. The high has absolutely no ceiling. Just some amazing shit. I've grown out the best that Soma, DJ Short, Serious, and a few others had to offer, all the top line shit, and absolutely nothing and I mean NOTHING holds a candle to the East Coast.

I got 3 mamas in my shed right now vegging until I flip 12/12 in March of MeltingPot's ECSDxSFVOG and cannot wait until May when I can taste that taste one more time. I hope it at least comes close, and I'm sure it will as I have faith in my brotha MP. But, to have the pure East Coast again would be just what the doctor ordered and cannot wait one day when I have a proper setup to get an East Coast cut, keep her, clone her, love her, and enjoy her until the day I'm dust in the wind.

dachieftan, you got it!!!! That all seems about right, she likes the calmag too!!!! She'll grow nice in the summer but she's a whole different animal this time of year!!!

GET MO, ECSD or East Coast Sour Diesel refers to the clone-only that gets past around this neck of the woods, but some will just simply call it Sour Diesel as well. REZDOG has done all kinds of breeding with the clone, his Sour Diesel IBL and the old Alpha Diesel are both killer and you can find phenos pretty much on par with the original clone. Crazy Composer did a side-by-side thread with the ECSD clone and REZ's new SDIBL and you an hardly tell the difference in the pics.

gdawg, pretty safe to say you'll find a keeper! Keep those males too, some of the best crosses around come from dads of REZ's SDIBL.

Abbie, That cross of MP's is sure to satisfy your diesel cravings!!!! MP knows his stuff and you can pretty much bet on anything he's keeping around! Chaco kept two phenos I believe, I've smoked them both and they are oh so lovely!!!!!!! Total diesel with that lemony westcoast OG on top!

Hope Chaco doesn't mind that I answered y'all's questions. I'm bored at the moment and I know Chaco's fingers are so jammed up with diesel resin he wouldn't be able to type anyhow!!!!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!!
