ec measurements and organic fertilizer

Hi whats the consensus on using a ec meter to measure the plants feeding habits when growing in soil and using organic ferilizer ? I did some searches and read that its not really that usefull.But the feeding chart that came with my organic nutes does mention a recommended ec level.Its only 30 dollar and im doing some last minute ordering but i dont want to waste any cash if its not necessary.The nutes are a b'cuzz line

Any amount you spend for an EC meter for organic nutes is money wasted. If you have other uses for it, such as checking water, etc., it could be something you might want to have. Good luck. -granger
