i am currently setting up a run to waste drip system on a 15x8 table. I have always used open ended feed lines, but i wanna try something else for this because i will not be recirculating like i usually do. If someone experienced could give tips or answer my q's, that would be awesome!!!

I was looking at the flag drippers, and then the pressure compensated ones...What is the freakin diff..? Which works better with less clogging..?
I have a shurflo 45 psi pump to run all of this btw.

What size main lines should i use? 1/2" or 3/4''?
My shurflow only has 1/2" inlets/outlets, so does that mean that it would be pointless to run a 3/4" line?

Do I have to make an manifold (like pico's for example) for even distribution like you do when you use open 1/4" lines? Or can i just cap the end of each main line instead of connecting them all?

If you answer the q's, just copy/paste them, and then write your response. Thx for your help fellas. -s'h

How many gph can it pump at 45psi? That's what will factor your 3/4" line or not.

You can make a 1gph pump work at 45psi but it's not going to fill a 3/4" pipe of any significant length very quickly.

I know that much but the rest of what you ask is not within my realm of experience. Sorry.

198 gph, 3.3 gal/min. is the max flow rate. Im gonna have the trunk lines run like 15 foot long.

ive never had a problem with drippers cloggin. as you see these are the little open ended, cheap drippers with the stakes. these pics are from a few years ago when i ran a recirc system coco with pbp nutes and other dumb shit. now i drip run to waste using heads base formula and i know my drippers wont clog cuz my rez stays clean. are you recirc or run to waste? i just have a shitload of drippers so if one does clog there are at least 2 more on that plant feedin her. however i am always wishin i had more drippers:wallbash: i have 2 "trunklines" that run down each table with the ends capped. run to waste=no problems i keep tryin to tell yall:noway:
