Eastbay's Winter Runs... just tryna heat the house for the winter, Norcal clone-onlys

Hi ICMAG!

Got so much love on my outdoor thread this year i figured i would start a thread to document and share my indoor runs during the winter until next outdoor season starts ~March.

So far i got a 5x5 tent with a 1000w cooltube... plants are.. x5 Platinum Cookies, x3 Forum GSC, x2 Black Lime Reserve (KK cut), x1 Sunset Sherbert, and x1 GG#4.. this is bassicly a cookie tent with a few stragllers around the edges to see if they will make the cut to continue in my venue... we will see in ~10 weeks since i flipped the switch today to 12/12

Pics from 11/29 when plants where just transplanted from 1gal to 7gal fabric pots with a modified coots mix...



And now here they are today, less than a week later...



growing so fast i said "fuck i better flip em asap!", got a BLR thats already pushing 3'+ with 10+ tops.. this might get wild



along with the tent, a converted closet (3'x7') that will be used to scrog and flower out some left over Tahoe OG and FIRE OG clones i had (cant let healthy babies go to waste)... it's been lined with poly plastic and the plants have been scrogged already, now im just waiting for my 1000w, cooltube, fan/filter to arrive and then ill flip those too....

Here;s a GG4, im really liking this plants structure and veg growth, could be a keeper, we'll see how finished product stacks up, i've never had a real stand out GG4 ime



Here's a Sunset Sherbert, im liking this ones veg growth as well, much more sativa influenced then say the Platinum GSC, and even the Forum GSC... could be promissing but my cookie frost (platinum cookies x Thin mint gsc) cut is getting the first chance to shine next round, both rooms will be cookie frost next grow (if you dont know cookie frost, check my outdoor thread)



and now its tea time, 24hr brew going...

Great way to heat the house !

I ordered a 1 K Metal Halide and a 600 HPS, thinking of previous years' winters when 1600 watts in a large room was the way to go in the winter.

Once I almost bought an old 2-quad-core-Xeon Dell with a big SCSI array just to use as a winter computer & room heater. Plus it was about $250.

i cleaned all the lowers on both the 5x5 and 3x7 scrog and also top-dressed with some gro-kashi on the 5x5, should be interesting..

here we are at day 12, im not going to do any more foliars in flower from now on so we'll see if i have any issues or if albricht soil will hold em off.. again im using a slightly modified coots mix

i added a few supplements to my watering regime, any thoughts? fat flowers, sea crop, sea green, and og veganic special sauce (lol @ name)

girls looking good so far, once they get ahold of the good coots soil a week or so in, they green up and take off, love this shit...




^look at how nicely this GG4 is stretching from last update

also i was at a different grow store and needed to grab a bag of soil for some clones going in 1gals and got this Tupar soil, after ammending it and transplanting my clones, i wouldnt recommend this stuff, smells gross, super porous, i didnt like it
