Easiest Cheapest Greenhouse Ever!

I came up with the easiest and cheapest 16 x 10 greenhouse last year that I have ever put up. It goes up easily in a day and lasts the season. I just redid it yesterday.
I bought 6 metal stakes about 4 ft long from the hardware store and bought 3 pieces of pvc pipe that would easily slide over the stakes.
Measured out the area for the g.h and drove the 6 stakes in about 2 or 3 ft and slid the pvc over the stakes and there's the frame.. Duct tape and plastic sheeting stretched around the sides and I use no-c-um netting over the top so heat escapes and sock a zipper door in one end and its good to go for a year. The netting keeps out dirt etc and you get a nice clean outdoor product.
The cost is minimal... pvc stakes and plastic less than $100. and the netting (up to you) is the most expensive.. i also put down paving stones for a floor so my expense was more but for an easy cheap setup you can't beat it.

That sounds good, do you have any pic's to show us so we can see how your setup looks. that would be helpful, thanks.

Can you post a few pictures, it sounds pretty simple and cheap. I get an idea of what your describing, if you can't. I may build a smaller version. Thanks for the good idea!!!

I used form stakes and PVC to set up my hoop house. a 30' stick will make a hoop 10' tall that spans 18' wide. I spaced them every 3 feet and ended up with a 18x30. I hooked 1x4s in to the sides with carriage bolts, nuts, washers, and also connected a purlin, also made of PVC, to each hoop using the same carriage bolts. I have a redwood base board and also framed both end walls with real doors. The total materials with out plastic was $550. The plastic is about another $500. I threw a 4 ton propane heater in there too...with thermostat..that was $700.
