Earthquake in New York: Is everybody okay?

I only just switched on BBC news and saw the headline at the bottom of the screen.
I knew there had been earthquakes in New York in the past but the news comes pretty much out of the blue.

This quake is said to be of 4.8 magnitude. I guess it could have been worse but still....

I only started this thread for all members located in New York to make sure they´re okay. I hope no forum member got hurt or anything.

So please feel free to share your feelings and experience with us.

I'm near Albany, NY. I didn't feel anything here. I was outside at the time.

Well, this is good news and I´m glad you guys are okay.
I sent an email to a family member and they wrote back saying they´re doing fine but they really experienced the quake. The entire house was shaking etc. Luckily they´re all fine and none of them were hurt.
