Early Amber Trichomes?

My plants are at day 51 flower and already have a good 15% or so amber trichs. Strain only takes 55-60 days to flower, but was still surprised. Even checked a lower bud and saw some amber. At this point, I'm thinking of chopping them at day 60?

15% or so amber isn't as important as what percentage of milky vs clear you have. If you are 50% milky, cut it down! If you're 50% clear, let it go a little longer.

are you seeing this amount of amber on the calyx or the trim leaf?

well then, you should be judging the amound of amber on the calyx, since the leaf will be trimmed off.

its typical for the resin on the sugar leaf to go amber before the flowers are ripe, becase normally the leaf is the first to grow and form glands.

wait til you see 10-20% amber on your calyx's, the more amber the higher the CBN, depending on how you like your plant
