Earliest possible sexing?

How many weeks would it take before I could sex my plants (from seed) and get them back on 18/6 cycle indoors before they go outside? Also How long would it take to get a 1' sativa? Working with Dutch passions durban poision. I should plant in just under two months to be safe.

The sexing part of your question I can answer........it usually takes between 4 & 6 weeks for plants to show pre-flowers so that you can determine sex.
The rest I'll have to leave for someone else.

No 4 to 6 weeks total. I can answer your question. My ans. is don't take out of veg. leave lights on 18/6 boys & girls will show in time and you wont need to put them back under, just stress the plant does not need. Just my thoughts. SS

Well what i'm trying to do (guess I should have said this earlier) is to get them going inside before they hit the elements outside, and it would be awsome if I had time to figure out what is what. How long on 12/12 till a noob like me can tell their sex? and at what point should I start the sexing (in terms of nodes, height, age etc)? I am growing in NH.

you can put your plants on 12/12 at about 3 weeks old, then it will take about 7-20 days before you'll see sex...lately i've noticed the younger they are before you flower them a little longer it takes to show sex.

Yea I figured you might be in NE somwhere because of your sig lol. I live in MA but theres no good place to grow here realy, have a perfect spot in NH though. Never seen a deer or deer shit around either. Moose though! I Just started 4 durban x skunk tonight and will start about 6 straight durban tomorrow. I didnt realize the growing season was so immanent lol.

Yes get them going. MY loc was a tough choice between Manny and being at the Boston Garden with my foot up Harry Sindens ass and my stick in Mr Jacobs. but I figured no watches hockey, shit I can bearly watch the Bruins and I play hockey oh have ski and summer cottage with closets HeHe

a south African sativa ?...outdoors in NH ?

agggh something just isnt working for me on that combo.

A sativa isnt going to show you any premordia until at least 8 to 12 weeks old in veg.
You'd have been much better off having several in veg a month ago with labeled cuttings in an areo cloner under 12/12 to determine the sex of those still vegging seedlings on time to get them planted outdoors soon enough (last week thru NOW) to have a fair chance to finish flowering up there in the chilly NH autumn climate.

At this point in time, I'd just pop some seedlings indoors, harden them off a little with daily visits to the sunshine & fresh air so they can cope with being given to mother nature, and then get them planted in your chosen locations. Then cull the males as they begin to show their premordia outdoors in a mid to late july
