Hello, fellow members and lurkers, Ive done some looking around and couldnt find that much on dyi vents. So ive decided to and hopefully get a whole thread on dyi ideas and vents others made here.This is more aimed towards for the micro and cab growers, but with some crafty thinking im sure it can be used for various grows sizes. Ill post up links to all the other dyi vent threads i find here as well.
Ill guess ill start with mine! sorry for the sideways pix.
I put this together using foamboard,some filter i had leftover from my scrubber and gorilla tape. I fucking love that shit.
I pretty much made a square with the poster board the size of the spare i cut in the back of the room in my cab.Then i cut inch wide strips out the length of the square and placed them horizontally in the square.Each over lapping the other,and there is 2 rows of them.The outside strips i placed vertically.I dont know why either!! I need to fix the pieces in better.lol
I put the filter on the inside so no little buggies and whatnot find their way in,they are replaceable. After i put this in my cab, i stood in the dark with it on and tested it.no light no prob eh? Temps also got better with this because theres more air coming in.Ive done 2 bagseed grows with this already and it works awesome. Im building another one on google sketchup to replace this one.Im aiming to loose the tape.
